BIBAC 2016 Event Information

TRAVELING TO CAMBRIDGE

Cambridge is situated in the East of the country and is accessible by rail and road. Trains run hourly from Kings Cross London and the rest of the country directly into Cambridge train station, which is a short walk into the city centre, or the Faculty of Education, on Hills Road, see local map for further instructions.

Cambridge also has Park and Ride facilities available, information on locations and bus times can be found on the City Councils website.

 

ACCOMMODATION

Cambridge offers a wide range of hotels and boutique B&B’s in the city centre and wider locations. For a further list of hotels and dates available please visit this website.

We have provisionally reserved some bedrooms at Homerton College for conference delegates. The rate is £65 per room per night, book your room here.

Delegates are responsible for any accommodation costs and will need to pay Homerton College directly.

CONFERENCE VENUES

Each venue can be accessed from the centre of town via a 30 min walk, a 10 min hire bike, a 20 min bus or 5 minute taxi (off-peak-times).

GETTING AROUND

Cambridge has many cycle and path ways around the city, bike hire can be made from the train station, and a local map can be found here.

Park and Ride and city buses travel around the city at regular times and travel out to the city limits.
