THE CONFERENCE THEME & FORMATS Coinciding with the 2014 Cambridge Festival of Ideas, this three-day conference focused on the frontiers of ‘interdisciplinarity’ in the arts, humanities and sciences as well as the creative and methodological interconnected possibilities of practice and theory across cultures. The organisers have received proposals from academics, artists, practitioners, researchers, musicians and arts administrators to present their practice, theories, methodologies and interdisciplinary art projects which will open up and stimulate collaborative dialogue. Using a broad spectrum of facilitative frameworks, key issues will be problematized, pluralised and performed in the form of keynotes, parallel sessions, roundtables, symposia, talks, workshops and performances.
The BIBAC 2014 conference will be of much interest to all involved in ‘interdisciplinarity’ and ‘interculturality’ in the arts, humanities and sciences. Mark up your diaries for 24-26 October and join us as we explore and expand new frontiers in Building Interdisciplinary Bridges Across Cultures !
